Facebook recently has changed it’s photo-viewer. I wouldn’t say it’s as good as Google+’s photo-viewer.
Photos are displayed on a clean white background (it was black) with a white border running around the photo. Uploaded images are bigger (720 pixels to 960 pixels, they load twice as fast, and they are shown in a higher resolution.
More than 250 million photos have been uploaded to Facebook.
I’m not sure if it is rolled out to everybody yet, but here’s what the new photo experience looks like:
You can specify with whom did you take a photo and where was it taken -
Tag your friends or the people in the photo -
If you have set your Location on Facebook, and if the photo was taken from a trip or a different city/country etc. just click on Change.
Type the city name and select the Location -
You will then see a different format of caption and details for the photo -
