You can’t just right-click and save a photo you see on your Google+ stream. Google+ has an improved photo viewing interface that does not allow you to save photos. This is for your own security purposes from people misusing your photos.

The Google team has also removed the plus one buttons from the comments you post on photos. Now, they have just one plus one button per picture/share.
